  1. Excel 2007

SQL Spreads supports Excel 2010 and Excel 2013. We have prepared SQL Spreads to support Excel 2007, but we have not started implemented it yet. If you need support for Excel 2007 put a vote on this suggestion.

  2. Install on local server

I would like to have a downloadable version of SQL Spreads 2013 that we can install on our local servers.

  3. Let two users work on the same data…

Today all Excel data is stored in the database per user and separated between different users. Excel figures can be aggregate between users, but you cannot have two users working/updating the same data.

An improvement here would be to to make it possible to set users access on a data group’s level. As an example, if the data in the spreadsheet is grouped by project, then different project managers could be given access to different projects, but a general manager could at the same time be given access to all projects

  4. Keep track of changed rows in Excel

Today SQL Spreads do a Delete and Update when saving Excel data in SQL Server. So all rows are deleted and replaced.

We have an idea about keeping track of which rows that were updated in Excel and make that info available in SQL Server.

Would that be a valuable feature?
